Bored aboard? Take a computer class...

A US cruise line is to offer computer tutorials during its cruises, the latest innovation in onboard entertainment.
From April this year, guests aboard select Celebrity Cruises ships will be able to take classes in computer usage from specialist staff, with content ranging from movie editing to web design. Programs such as iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD and iWeb will be taught in the "Celebrity iLounge", equipped with 26 MacBook Pro computers and a large screen television for use during classes.
The iLounge will also double as an Apple authorized reseller onboard computer store, selling iPods and MacBook computers. It will launch on the Celebrity Eclipse in April, and also on two further ships scheduled to launch in 2011 and 2012.
On board "enrichment" is growing more popular as cruise lines seek new methods of engaging holidaymakers on long voyages. Last month, Cunard announced that it planned to introduce an onboard lecture series on its transatlantic crossings from April 2010.
