Something To Declare: Sail south; Stansted for less
Destination of the week: sail south
You need not fly to North Africa: Mediterranean ferry services open up all kinds of possibilities for people who prefer to travel terrestrially around Europe. The Italian company Grandi Navi Veloci ( www.gnv.it) has services from Palermo to Tunis (with a connecting service from Rome) and from Barcelona to Tangier; one-way from €130 (£93).
Destination of the week: Stansted for less
From 7 June, travellers from London will be able to book easyBus trips from Baker Street to Stansted for as little as £2 one-way, at www.easyBus.co.uk. The maximum walk-up fare for the minibus service is £7. The fleet of Mercedes buses is being transferred from the current easyBus London-Luton route. This link is to be merged with Green Line services.
