Ken Bruce pays tribute to ‘terrific’ Paul O’Grady

Ken Bruce has paid tribute to Paul O'Grady, who has died at the age of 67.

The legendary TV and radio presenter passed away "unexpectedly but peacefully" on Tuesday, 28 March, his husband Andre Portasio confirmed.

The former BBC Radio 2 presenter credited Mr O'Grady with being a "terrific communicator" on his Sunday teatime show on the station.

"I was always amazed by how easily Paul slipped into the style of radio presentation," Mr Bruce said.

"There was an innate kindliness and a lack of nastiness about him."
