In a caption in the Review last week we described Harold Bloom as being "prone" in his Barcalounger. The picture showed Mr Bloom lying on his back; he was therefore "supine".
A suitable number
In last week's article "Rushdie started it. And it won't stop", it was stated that Vikram Seth's A Suitable Boy sold only 7,000 copies in the Penguin India edition. In fact, the book has sold more than 30,000 copies and continues to backlist strongly.
