BBC move
Last week Gavin Allen was quoted in an article, "BBC is heading for the river", on the BBC's relocation of news staff from its White City headquarters. We are happy to point out that Mr Allen did not make the comment that the move was a "fittingly muddled epitaph to John Birt's reign" and that this comment does not represent his views.
Lost generation
Miranda Rhys Williams is the great-granddaughter, not the granddaughter, of both Elinor Glyn and Muriel Foster ("A strong palette", Sunday Review, 27 June).
007 goes on Forever
Sean Connery's last appearance as James Bond was in 1971 in the film Diamonds are Forever, not in You Only Live Twice as stated in the Sunday Preview (Sunday Review, 20 June).
Pedestrian mistake
In The Pedestrian (Sunday Review, 20 June) we misattributed a sculpture (shown above) to Tony Cragg. The piece, Volte Face, which is at Cartier Circle, Canary Wharf, London, is actually the work of Alex MacGregor and Richard Clark.
