Thanks to a huge dose of "Roomania" over the last week, plus a fresh injection of "Henmania" yesterday, people seem to be inoculated against depression. In fact, they've rarely felt better. At this rate, not even a massive rail strike planned for next week will be able to wipe the smile from people's faces. The economy has been given a boost, too. If Sven's lions go all the way in Portugal, shops will be on course to take an extra £400m. And if Tim Henman triumphs at Wimbledon, you can probably double that figure. Of course, as sport has taught us, you can never take anything for granted - this feeling may end abruptly. But that's for another day. For now, let's just bask in the glow of victory.
