Nearly thirty years ago a young Steve Jobs addressed the International Design Conference in Aspen Colorado.

He predicted a day when email would be the dominant form of communications, a day when people would carry around their computing devices with them, using them to record every detail of their lives. It seems a member of the audience recorded the speech on cassette, which has recently resurfaced and you can now listen to it in its entirety at lifelibertytech.com

Perhaps eeriest of all is his complaint that the problem with the then current state of computing was that great minds couldn't be consulted once they were dead. And look at us now, a year after the death of Jobs, listening to his prescient words, through the power of technology he helped invent.
