Let the PM be heard

Sir: Would the Labour Party et al not have been well-advised to encourage the BBC to screen its Panorama interview with John Major in Scotland, in the certain knowledge that a high proportion of the 15 or so people tuning in would, by the end of the programme, have switched their electoral allegiance away from the Conservative Party?
