YOUR editorial ('Another left-wing role?', 19 July) asks what job Neil Kinnock is now best fitted for. I would suggest the one he shone at most: that of left-wing Labour MP and front-bench critic. He was, after all, the MP who voted most against the Labour governments of 1974-7 from the Labour side.
