Letter: And finally . . . the end of the world is imminent

WHENEVER on television or the radio I hear a member of the public, prompted no doubt by a thrusting journalist, demand to know who is responsible for this or that, I usually wonder what he or she would do with the information if given it. Often the question is mindless rhetoric which receives the response it deserves: and no one is any the wiser or better informed for having listened or watched.

I try to conduct my life and relationships avoiding the words 'fault' and 'blame'. This is because I believe once either is used, truth goes underground seldom to reappear.
