ROSANNA de Lisle's article ('MPs ready to demand cut in price of CDs', 25 April) was flawed. You failed to point out that Brian McLaughlin of HMV had said that CD prices had had no noticeable effect on customers' desire for CDs.
You failed to comment on public money being spent sending a Select Committee to New York to compare prices. When are you going to start attacking the Net Book Agreement? You also failed to mention that the last time CD prices were substantially reduced W H Smith didn't pass on the reduction to customers.
When are you going to understand the economics of the music business?
