Sir: Neil Lyndon correctly points out that England has not been given a democratic choice on the future of the UK. But the "voices of the Celtic fringes" are asking for a vote on their own future in the UK, not England's.
If England wants to vote on the future of the UK let it vote on England remaining within the UK, then it too has a voice in the shaping of relations with its neighbours.
