Sir: In his letter entitled 'Flawed family values' ( Peter Tatchell, 19 January) asks: 'Since when has prejudice and discrimination against gay teenagers been a family value? What happened to love and tolerance?' Perhaps he should be reminded that it is precisely because families are loving and tolerant that they neither condone nor encourage the corruption and perversion of their children.
