Letter: Moral solution

Sir: While correspondence and discussion have been in train on the topic of the church and the moral guidance of the young, there has been published the papal encyclical Veritatis Splendor (Catholic Truth Society, pounds 4.50).

This lays out clearly and extensively the whole basis of Christian morality, and layman and pastor alike could scarcely find something so informative in modern times.
