Sir: Today, Miles Kington highlighted the existence of things which, though encountered often enough in our everyday life, appear to have no name. I find that I am able to address part of the problem: in the whisky trade, at any rate, 'the little booklets that hang by a piece of string from the neck of expensive foreign drink bottles' are referred to as 'neck hangers'.
