I DON'T wholly agree with Liz Moloney that the Independent on Sunday should campaign against private cars (Letters, 13 March). I applaud the critical stance it takes against the road lobby but believe this should be extended to a positive stance towards alternative transport. It would be unrealistic for the paper to refuse advertisements from car manufacturers, but the substitution of the motoring section in the Sunday Review with a cycling section would, in my opinion, be praiseworthy.
