Sir: The Prime Minister has revealed he really is soldiering on without any sense of direction. Replying to questions outside No 10 on Friday he promised: "We shall do what the British nation has always done when it had its back to the wall - turn round and fight, and that's what I shall do.'' I look forward to seeing Mr Major fighting his brick wall.
