Sir: Regarding the Stuart claim to the throne, Marwood Yeatman (letter, 22 December) says that if the Stuarts have dumped Roman Catholicism to offer an alternative candidate for the throne and head of the Church of England, they are unprincipled. I wonder if Mr Yeatman adheres to all of the principles and beliefs of his forebears?
