Sir: I find the conception of God a great enigma. He is claimed to have created the world, which the scientists say was about 30 million years ago. Why did He wait so long to create Man 'on the Sixth Day' in the year 4004BC, as stated in the King James version of the Old Testament?
Why is it only humans that are admitted into this Heavenly Kingdom, to the exclusion of all the other fauna which He also created?
Could it be that, out of fear of extinction we created Him? In which case it is not God who created Man, but Man who created God, and in which case it surely ceases to make him Godlike?
Yours sincerely,
