Sir: The Labour MP Chris Mullin tells us that the so-called shooting lobby is controlled by Tory grandees. Surely some mistake. The majority of handguns are owned by skilled working-class people. They have invested a lot of money in their chosen hobby and will not take kindly to the Labour Party confiscating their possessions. Has Labour shot itself in the foot?
