I Am amused by the quotation attributed to Jack Kevorkian's lawyer, Geoffrey Fieger, directed at the masculinity of American doctors, of whom I am one. Mr Fieger should know that the term he hasn't got the balls for a fight originally referred to the 17th-century musketeer who, when he ran out of musket balls, fled the field. It had nothing to do with his masculinity or courage, but a lot to do with prudence, which might be a good position for us to take with regard to the right to death.
