LETTER: Common sense is not enough

AS PART of his refutation of Lewis Wolpert's thesis that science is alien to common sense, John Enderby cites the theory of relativity. I doubt whether Einstein, architect-in-chief of relativity theory, would agree with his argument: he once defined common sense as "the deposit of prejudice laid down in the mind before the age of 18".
