Twitter, for all its faults, is great for many things, chief of all spoof accounts.

A new one has been unearthed and it's a doozy: Donald Trump, the film critic.

It really is as simple as that. Some person (admittedly with a lot of time on their hands) has taken the controversial Republican presidential candidate and turned him into a grumpy muse on all things film. The account's username? @ArtHouseTrump.

The main targets here are arthouse classics, with the user waxing lyrical on films from acclaimed classic filmmakers such as Ingrid Bergman (Seventh Seal), Jean-Luc Godard (Breathless) and Yasujirō Ozu (Tokyo Story).

But some modern films also get taken down, including the Dardenne brothers' Two Days, One Night (2014).

In case you're wondering what the Twitter page's header image, that's Trump's cameo in 1992 family sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

There was, of course, one film he did like; Sergei Eisenstein's 1925 soviet film Battleship Potemkin which recounts the 1905 mutiny that occurred when the Russian battleship rebelled against their officers.

You can follow the Twitter account here.

Over the years, Trump has racked up a wide range of cameos including films The Little Rascals, Two Weeks Notice and Zoolander as well as TV series The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
