All the films being shown on Film4 Summer screen at Somerset House

Cinephiles may have found themselves facing somewhat of a conundrum: should they enjoy these days in the sun? Or retreat once more into the darkened auditorium of their local multiplex?

For any London-based film fans, thankfully that compromise doesn't need to be made, all thanks to Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House, which returns once more for two weeks this month.

The city's largest outdoor screen will see 2,000 attendees gather for both new and classic releases, including two UK premieres.

The Wife will see Glenn Close herself introduce the first UK public screening of Björn Runge's infectious drama tracking one woman's journey of self-empowerment and discovery, breaking out from the shadows of her literary star husband (Jonathan Pryce).

Meanwhile, American Animals, the second UK premiere, sees Evan Peters and Dunkirk's Barry Keoghan star in a thrilling true-crime tale as four students come together to steal some of the world's rarest books from the special collections room of their college library.
