Kevin Hart is in “excruciating pain” as he recovers from the car crash that reportedly left him with a fractured spine.

According to TMZ, the comedian is slowly walking again just a week after the accident, where his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda veered off the road in Malibu and off a steep verge.

His friend, Jared Black, was reportedly driving while Black’s fiancé, 31-year-old Rebecca Broxterman, was also in the car.

Hart reportedly went home before being taken to hospital, not realising the severity of his injuries. He has since reportedly undergone surgery for three fractures to his spine.

Pictures showed the damage done to Hart’s 720bhp muscle car – a birthday present to himself ¬– which he nicknamed Menace.

Eniko Parrish, Hart’s wife, shared an update earlier this week on the comedian’s condition, saying that he was “going to be just fine”.

She said that Hart was awake, but not lively and joking just yet. However, she added that he was in “good spirits”.
