Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood UK trailer

New posters have been released in anticipation of Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood's Cannes premiere.

Both show Leonardo DiCaprio's Rick Dalton. The story, set in 1969 Los Angeles, follows him and his stunt double Cliff Booth as they navigate a changing film industry.

Both posters were revealed on the film's official Twitter account. The first was accompanied by the caption: "Witness Rick Dalton and Margaret Lee together in Columbia-Euro’s latest motion picture, ‘Operazione Dyn-o-mite!'” The second had the caption: "Straight from Italy comes ‘Kill Me Now Ringo, Said The Gringo,’ now showing in a multiplex near you.”

The Quentin Tarantino film was previously absent from the Cannes line-up, with reports suggesting the project would not be completed in time for the festival, but has since been confirmed.

The director's Pulp Fiction debuted at the same festival 25 years ago, on 21 May, and went on to win the coveted Palme d’Or. Once Upon a Time will compete for the same prize.

Alongside DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Damien Lewis, Lena Dunham and Bruce Dern also star. Burt Reynolds and Luke Perry will appear in the film posthumously.

Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood will be released in the UK on 14 August.
