It’s the bedroom Toy Story fans spent their childhoods longing to have and now, a group of Woody and Buzz megafans have recreated Andy’s teenage den in unbelievable detail.

The Disney Pixar enthusiasts make their own version of everything in the boy’s room from his wagon toy box and crescent moon bedstead to the posters on the sky blue walls and dartboard on the back of the door.

Even the whiteboard next to Andy’s desk has been copied, complete with hand-drawn timetable and silly cartoon.

Two years of hard graft and a lot of fun later, the gang finished their project and the results are pretty spectacular. So impressive, in fact, that these photos could easily be mistaken for film stills.

If you’re wondering what the point of this act of dedication is, the fans are busy putting on “a full-length shot-for-shot” remake of Toy Story 3 with “real toy and real people”.

The pals are bringing their toys to life using stop-motion animation and you can see a sneak peek of the scene in which Buzz discovers Lots-O-Huggin Bear is hiding out with his gang in a vending machine.

Of course, as Andy’s bedroom is a major set piece in the movie, it was kind of crucial to sort that one out nice and early.

The idea was born after the friends became “obsessed” with Toy Story 3 after seeing it at the cinema on its opening night.

“We began collecting just about every new toy from the film to accompany the ones we had as kids,” said spokesperson Morgan McGrew, who is starring, producing and directing.

“Let’s fast forward two years. By this time I’m 16 and I finally realise that Toy Story 3 was more than just my favourite film, it was actually kind of my life. I was growing up and still am.

“I didn’t want to miss my chance to thank Pixar for making Toy Story 3 and every other film for that matter.”
