Clean bandit are a hip gang of young British up-and-comers. Catch them at Latitude before they become massive.

Which latitude are you on right now?

We live in London but right now we’re ironically on a day's break in Suffolk!

Sum up what you do for us in one sentence for anyone who might not know...

Bass music with strings and various wonderful singers.

If you could give us one hot tip for who to see at Latitude what would it be?

I love Dylan Moran!

Do you have any pre-show rituals?

It’s different every time, but in the past there's been jumping around.

What's your best festival story for us?

When we were booked to play at Secret Garden Party a few years ago we didn't realise our stage was in the middle of a lake, and we had to put cellos, violins, drum kits etc on punts in order to cross the water! When we got there it started to rain but luckily our architect friend Paloma was there and whipped up a rain shelter to protect us. By the end of the set the sun was out and there was a general feeling of euphoria!!!

What's your signature cooking dish?

A Russian aubergine dish called Baklazhan, which translates as 'Aubergine'.

What book/film/record etc. changed your life and why?

Amnesiac by Radiohead because it's what got me into electronic music.

And lastly, summarise Latitude in three words

My first time.
