BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez release ‘Ice Cream’ song and video
Video comes ahead of the release of BLACKPINK's studio debut
K-pop stars BLACKPINK have dropped their Selena Gomez collaboration, “Ice Cream”, written by Ariana Grande and Victoria Monet.
The track is the second single taken from BLACKPINK’s forthcoming studio debut, which is scheduled for release on 2 October.
The album also includes “How You Like That”, which followed the release of the group’s Lady Gaga team-up, “Sour Candy”.
Accompanying “Ice Cream” is a colourful video showing BLACKPINK and Gomez frolicking around an icecream truck, gardens, and a badminton court.
At the time of writing, the video had already achieved more than 22 million views.

Gomez released her third album, Rare, in January, and followed it with the release of her single, “Feel Me”.
Rare, which debuted at No 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart, marked Gomez’s first album in five years, following her struggles with Lupus, depression and anxiety.
“I wasn’t going to pretend to put a smile on when it actually was awful – a few of the worst moments of my life,” Gomez told NPR in an interview earlier this year.
“And I don’t know if I would have made it. And that’s medical reasons, obviously, and emotional reasons. I just had to find a way to claim my story.”
