The identity of the final two headliners who'll grace the Pyramid Stage at next year's Glastonbury Festival have reportedly been revealed.

In October, it was announced that Radiohead will be returning to Worthy Farm for a headline performance on the Friday.

Following intense rumours that have included Daft Punk, The Stone Roses and Lady Gaga, it now looks as if the final two headline acts will be Ed Sheeran and Foo Fighters.

10 acts rumoured to headline Glastonbury 2017

It makes sense for the Foos to be handed the slot; the Dave Grohl-fronted group were already down to play in 2015 before they pulled out due to the frontman's broken leg.

Sheeran, while bandied about tentatively, is an unexpected decision evidently designed to tap into the 'Saturday night Adele slot' that swept this summer's Festival.

Glastonbury Festival takes place

The news has been reported by The Sun who states that the performance will mark the singer-songwriter's return to music after a one-year hiatus; he last played the festival in 2014.

Glastonbury 2017 will take place on 21-25 June; the resale opens early 2017.
