Vitriolic tweeter Liam Gallagher took the time on Christmas Eve to wish a (sic): "Hapoy Xmas to all my brothers and sisters dignified and undignified".

He made an exemption the following evening, however, clarifying (also sic): "Miserable Xmas to morrisey".

Nevertheless, he went on to quote some of Morrissey's lyrics from The Smiths' songs 'What Difference Does It Make?', 'William It Was Really Nothing' and 'That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore'.

It wasn't clear whether Liam was riding the recent wave of anti-Morrissey feeling, or if this was just general Gallagher hatred.

Liam and his brother Noel have apparently made up for Christmas.

"It’s still the same – it’s just that I’ve called a truce on it and he’s called a truce on it and no more slagging," he told NME.
