London festival All Points East adds fresh wave of impressive acts to its lineup

Brand new London festival All Points East has officially announced a fresh wave of acts to join the impressive lineup.

Joining headliners LCD Soundsystem, Björk, The xx and Ohio indie rockers The National for the huge new event is the likes of Young fathers, Django Django and Badbadnotgood.

These acts are just the latest to be added to the bill full of standout acts including Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Glass Animals and electronic pioneer Richie Hawtin.

The event, due to take place East London's Victoria Park over the May bank holiday weekend, will also see electro sensations Justice perform as well as Tom Misch, Chromeo, Hookworms and Nick Murphy aka Chet Faker.

Lorde, Lykke Li and Mercury Prize winner Sampha while Icelandic icon Björk will be supported by Beck, Flying Lotus and Father John Misty.

All Points East will take place from 25-27 May 2018 kicking off a ten-day event in Victoria Park designed as a major part of Tower Hamlets' bid to become London's Borough of Culture.

The event will culminate on 1 June with a day of performances from The War on Drugs, Future Islands and Warpaint.
