Public Enemy's Flavor Flav did a local TV weather report for some reason

He was sort of great, though?

TV weather reporter must be the best job in the world; at least, that would be the reasonable explanation as to why so many celebrities seem desperate for a single shot at the occupation.

Where the likes of Tom Hanks, Steve Carell, and Jason Schwartzman and Michael Cera began, Public Enemy's own Flavor Flav now follows.

The rapper made a guest appearance on Salt Lake City's Fox 13 show, and he'd clearly come with a pre-prepared bit; proclaiming his intentions in "to bring you all the weather; not only for the good, but for the better. You know what I'm saying?"

If there's anything to be learnt from this, it's that Flavor Fav's absolute favourite phrase is, indeed, "you know what I'm saying?" He loves it so much that in this 1.41-minute clip, he says it a total of 15 times.

He then went on to host the pet segment, in which he appealed to the show's viewers in the aid of finding poor pooch Patch a brand new home and a loving adoptive family.

You know what I'm saying?
