Taylor Swift will release an unheard re-recorded song tomorrow (25 March).

The singer made the announcement on Wednesday, writing on social media: “I wanted to let you know that the first ‘From the Vault’ song I’m releasing from Fearless (Taylor’s Version) comes out tomorrow at midnight eastern.

“It’s called “You All Over Me (From The Vault)”. One thing I’ve been loving about these ‘From The Vault’ songs is that they’ve never been heard, so I can experiment, play, and even include some of my favourite artists.”

The release is part of a project announced by Swift in 2019, which will see her re-recording her earlier songs after her catalogue was acquired by music executive Scooter Braun.

In February 2021, Swift announced that she was done re-recording her album Fearless, originally released in 2008 as her second studio album. She unveiled a new version of the song “Love Story”, re-titled “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” on that occasion.

The new version of Fearless will be comprised of 26 songs, as opposed to 13 on the original album. Six of these songs are “from the vault” tunes that weren’t included on the first album and have never been released before.

“You All Over Me (From The Vault)” is one of those six. It will include background vocals from singer Maren Morris.

The full new version of Fearless will be released as Fearless (Taylor's Version) on 9 April 2021.
