Zayn Malik has shared a new song after it was “leaked” due to “unprofessionalism” - but it seems no one can hear it.

There was a frenzy among fans on social media when he unexpectedly shared the song, announcing he was putting the Zayn x August Alsina “Don’t Matter (Remix)” online for free on Sunday 11 March.

Fans of Zayn Malik were thrown into a frenzy when the star unexpectedly shared an unreleased song - after it was “leaked”.

“This was not a song I intended to put out, but due to unprofessionalism has been leaked by someone and my fans mean more to me than a stupid leak, so here it is free for you to enjoy,” he tweeted.

Within an hour, “Don't Matter” was the site's top trending hashtag worldwide, as the singer’s website appeared to crash due to hordes of fans trying to get a first listen.

Collaborator August Alsina tweeted “I don't know how this happened”, but told Malik: “We do great work together.”

The artist tweeted: “Zayn, I'm sending an abundance of love to you! You are my brother, I am yours. I don't know how this happened but WAY TO MAKE LEMONS INTO LEMONADE. (& a great batch, might I add) we do great work together. Mashallah King!”
