French-Canadian sometime Björk-associate Olivier Alary is big on moments.

Not Ancelottian moments but Proustian ones. The sort of moments that gel into artfully envisioned Francophone pop like this, all orchestral hush, electronic hum and whispered reflection. Discord too, but quiet discord. "Things I Forget" is all about the difficulty of remembering and it comes at the listener furtively, like the kind of memory that reminds you how slippery experience is.

Desperately, painfully arty but worthy of your recollection.
