The Björk comparisons are going to get dull but at this point they're spot-on – although this is the Björk of "It's Oh So Quiet" rather than more, erm, experimental efforts.

The debut album from this Brighton-based big band built around the vocals of Raissa Khan-Panni comes out all horns blazing. The sound is pure big top, and Khan-Panni plays the ringleader with aplomb. But while these songs would all provide the perfect accompaniment to a high-wire act, things would be improved next time by the removal of the musical safety net.
