Rowdy, possibly slightly pissed Appalachian-style country-rock, shot through with the romance of the mine, the creek, the catfish and the car crash.

They deploy mandolin and banjo where others sling on a Telecaster so there's something unequivocally rootsical abut their rockin', and if their writing isn't quite top notch, their melodies are engaging enough and they sound lovely. The singers have throats and the drummer is a beast. Fans of Uncle Tupelo and the Drive-By Truckers should tune in.
