Theatre: When you have young children, it is hard to see live performances. Unless I am in it. I do manage to see my husband Rupert Goold's work, of course. His 'Merchant of Venice' is fabulous, but I would say that. I love watching Robert Lepage's work and I enjoyed 'Clybourne Park' recently and 'One Man, Two Guvnors' is a hoot.

Film: I recently watched 'Antichrist' by Lars von Trier, and it was incredibly stirring . But nothing beats a Woody Allen film on a Sunday night, with a glass of wine and some leftovers.

Television: We are 'Mad Men' fans in our house. I love the dedication to the women the script writers have. My guilty pleasure is reality TV, as I am really nosey. I can't stand 'The Jeremy Kyle Show', though; it is depraved and depressing.

Books: I am a total sucker for an actor's autobiography/biography. I have probably read most of them. I am reading 'Gielgud's Letters: John Gielgud in His Own Words' and I really loved 'The Collected Letters of Ellen Terry'. I read everything by Ian McEwan, he is so elegant. I love reading anything about Shakespeare, too. He is my first love. If I had a time machine, I would be hanging out with him.

Visual Arts: I looked at but was not allowed to touch Ai Weiwei's Sunflower Seeds at the Tate. The film of making them was really moving. I would see anything by Antony Gormley.

Music: Sufjan Stevens's "All Delighted People" is just gorgeous. I am a massive fan of early electronica like Steve Reich, Pat Metheny and Thomas Dolby. I used to be a big raver too, so anything dance. I love ambient music like Tunng. I love acoustic and classical, too.

Kate Fleetwood is appearing in 'London Road', National Theatre, London SE 1 (www.national theatre.org.uk) to 27 August
