I'm a Celebrity 2020 contestants revealed

One of the many things that has changed about I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! this year is the campmates’ eating schedule.

When the show takes place in Australia, the celebrities do their Bushtucker Trials in the mornings, then have dinner in the evenings – which works out well for UK viewers with the time difference.

However in 2020, because of the show’s move to Wales, the campmates don’t get told who is doing the trial until 10pm. They then have to do the challenge before eating, meaning they don’t get dinner until very late.

Before he entered the castle, AJ Pritchard revealed he and his fellow campmates had to change their eating routines ahead of filming.

“I’ve shifted all my times,” he said on the AJ vs Curtis podcast. “We’ve been told to go to bed about 3am and wake up about 11am, because the trials will be filmed quite late at night due to having enough time to edit and you’ll find out who left maybe 11pm.”

Executive producer Tom Gould explained: "The trials are going to happen after the live show at night so the day has been flipped.

"The trials happen at the end of the day and whatever food they have won will be brought pretty swiftly in to camp."

The celebrities end up eating, therefore, at around 1am. They then go to bed at about 2 or 3am.

I’m a Celebrity airs nightly at 9pm on ITV.
