Christina Applegate had an awkward encounter on the Emmys red carpet with TV host Giuliana Rancic .
The comedy star, who appears in Netflix series Dead To Me
"I don't know if she's watching E!," she said, before pausing and suggestively adding: "You know..."
Many Twitter users couldn't help but detect awkwardness between the two with one user posting the clip with the caption: "Christina Applegate didn't have to murder Guiliana Rancic like this."
