Rapper Kanye West has responded to Kim Kardashian’s divorce appeal accepting joint legal and physical custody of their four children North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm.

The record producer filed his response in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, almost seven weeks after the beauty mogul filed her documents.

Both filings were basically indistinguishable, concurring that the marriage should end over “irreconcilable differences,” and asks to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support and attorney’s fees to either party.

In March, Page Six revealed that the couple is no longer on speaking terms. West “changed all his phone numbers and told Kardashian she could only contact him through his security,” a source said.

“Despite this, she trusts him around the kids. He loves them and is seeing a lot of them. She leaves the house and he arrives and hangs out with the kids. They have an army of nannies so the transition is easy.”

According to Kardashian’s documents, the two have a pre-nuptial agreement to keep their property separate throughout their marriage.

A source told ET, “Kim filing for divorce from Kanye is just a formal part of the process.”

“The couple has been done for a while and have been amicable for a while. At the end of the day, Kanye and Kim love each other immensely but knew it was time to call it quits. Their children are their number one priority and no matter what will maintain a positive relationship for them.”

This separation brings an end to one of the most followed relationships of the past decade. It is the third marriage of Kardashian, the founder of Skims, and the first for West.
