OJ Simpson's infamous 'confession' interview will finally air on TV

An interview where OJ Simpson discusses what he think happened the night of his ex-wife's murder will finally air on TV in the US twelve years later.

The 'lost' interview will reportedly see Simpson discussing how he was acquitted of Ronald Goldman and Nicole Brown's 1994 murders.

Back in 2006, HarperCollins fired editor Judith Regan after she was working on plans for a tell-all book called If I Did It by Simpson where he gives a 'hypothetical' account of the murders of Brown and Goldman.

While the book found a home elsewhere and has since been released, Regan's TV interview has never been released publicly.

Now, 12 years later, the world will finally be able to see that infamous interview.

In the preview, a voiceover describes the TV special saying, "In 2006, OJ Simpson gave a no-holds barred interview including his gripping account of what might have happened that fateful night. For over a decade, the tapes of that infamous interview were lost: until now."

Simpson reportedly discusses how he would have murdered Goldman and Brown "if he were the one responsible."

"Simpson’s explosive words finally will be heard, as he answers the questions that gripped a nation during the notorious ‘Trial of the Century’," FOX said in a release.

The TV interview comes after Simpson was released from prison after serving nine years of a 33-year sentence last fall for armed robbery and kidnapping.

O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession? is set to air on FOX in April.
