A Yorkshire photographer reveals the secrets to taking the the perfect wedding photos
The trick is to look for a puddle, apparently
From catering to transport, reception venues to bridesmaid gowns, we all know that organising the perfect wedding can be a pretty tough job. But arguably the most important part are the snaps you get from the big day; it's the wedding photo that'll remain, once the memories fade and the band stops playing.
One stunning snapshot that marks the most magical day of your life, sat framed on the mantelpiece for the admiration of generations to come is all you can ask for, and one photographer wants you to know he's a pro.
Writing on his wesbite, Chris Chambers, based in Castleford in Yorkshire, explains how "laying in puddles, wading into lakes and generally shooting in undesirable locations" all form part of the job. He says he's been rolling his sleeves up and doing whatever it takes for the perfect shot for years, "as we strive to bring our bride and grooms our best wedding photography."
"We aim to achieve a lot of this work in camera," he continues. "Having spent time working on lighting and other techniques to create stunning wedding photographs straight out of camera without relying on too much Photoshop manipulation, we prefer photography to the boring computer work.'
