Aldi has released a line of Christmas jumpers - with matching sweaters for your pet.

The co-ordinating clothes could be the perfect accent if you’re planning to take a photo for your family Christmas card, with a range of styles to suit your pet’s personality.

Recognising the deep bond that exists between pet owners and their pets, the discount supermarket has created a line of Christmas jumpers so you and your furry friends can match this Christmas. Or year round, if you’re still in the festive spirit come January.

We'll leave you to decide whether matching with your pet is a good look

The holiday-themed jumpers are available in a range of sizes: human adult, human child, dog, and cat, and you can choose from a variety of styles.

Matching your best friend has never been easier - or cost-effective.

You can purchase the adult jumpers for £7.99 ($10), kids sizes for £5.99 ($8), and pet versions for just £3.99 ($5), meaning you can stock up and match your pet all season long.

 There's the option of a unicorn-themed sweater...

According to Aldi’s website, the line of pet-friendly jumpers was created because, “Despite their natural furry coats, some pets require a little more warmth over winter, whether they’re dozing in the house or running about on a brisk walk.”

“The jumpers are designed to be suitable for both, with three sizes available, a button hole to put the lead through, and sweet knitted designs.”

Asking the important questions, the description for one jumper explained the stores reasoning - “Why should our pets miss out on the festive cheer that comes with novelty holiday clothing? As far as we're concerned, they don't!”

...or a foodie-themed jumper for the greedier pet

We completely agree.

The festive jumpers are currently on sale in store only, so you better hurry if you want to get your hands on matching unicorn jumpers.
