Ariana Grande looks the epitome of sophistication in newly-released photos of Givenchy’s autumn/winter 2019 campaign.

On Monday, the House of Givenchy unveiled a series of images of Grande in her debut campaign for the French luxury brand, taken by acclaimed British fashion photographer Craig McDean.

In the images, the Grammy Award winner wears look from the label’s latest collection, including an off-the-shoulder embellished top with balloon sleeves, and a bright green blazer with an exaggerated shoulder silhouette styled with the brands “Eden” handbag.

In the campaign footage, the 26-year-old sports her now famous high ponytail.

Grande posted several images from the campaign shoot on her social media platforms and received an uproar of praise from her devoted fans.

“Classy af [sic],” commented one follower on user.

Rapper Nicki Minaj wrote on a series of photos shared by the singer: “The last pic is my mood until further notice.”

“THIS FEMALE ENERGY [sic],” added another.

After releasing the campaign images, a spokesperson from Givenchy said the company “found a modern embodiment of its signature spirit” in Grande, describing her as boasting “an elegant attitude informed by beauty, individuality and a sense of empowerment”.

Grande’s collaboration with Givenchy was announced in May, after both the singer and fashion label teased the new face of the autumn/winter 2019 collection on social media.

“It is with great excitement that the House of Givenchy reveals its new face – a strong, independent woman of refreshing character and style: the multi-talented Ariana Grande,” read a statement from the brand posted on its website.

At the time, Grande said that she was “so proud” to be the new face of the brand.

“It is a House I have forever admired and to now be part of that family is such an honour.

“I love this clothing and the confidence and joy it brings to the people wearing it. Not only is the clothing timeless and beautiful but I’m proud to work with a brand that makes people feel celebrated for who they are, and unapologetic about whatever they want to be.”

Earlier this month, the “7 rings” singer opened up about her five-month relationship with comedian Pete Davidson and coping with grief after losing her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who died from an overdose in September 2018.

The “Dangerous Woman” singer described her whirlwind romance with Davidson as “insane” and “highly unrealistic”, seemingly referencing the fact that the couple got engaged after one month of dating.

But speaking to Vogue, Grande explained that meeting Davidson was “an amazing distraction” in the wake of her breakup with Miller.

“It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic,” she said, adding: “I loved him, and I didn’t know him. I’m like an infant when it comes to real life and this old soul, been-around-the-block-a-million-times artist. I still don’t trust myself with the life stuff.”
