Self-Portrait launches wedding collection for 'unconventional brides'
The affordable occasion wear makes wedding debut with six dresses that can be worn more than once
You're getting married this year and you're an unconventional bride in the hunt for the wedding dress. Well, Self-Portrait has come to the rescue with its first ever bridal collection.
The London-based label is known for its affordable occasion wear of dresses, tops and skirts made with untraditional lace designs, that have become so popular Selfridges sells one dress each six minutes.
Following the sell out success of his creations, Self-Portrait's designer and founder, Han Chong, has made his wedding debut with a six-dress capsule collection for "unconventional brides", taking inspiration from alternative, yet super stylish brides from the history books - think of rock n' rollers Bianca Jagger and Pattie Boyd. Chong's relaxed take on such a special gown makes each dress a piece to be worn more than once.

"Women spend so much money on a dress they'll wear once, I wanted to create a dress they can wear again and again," says Chong.
The collection, which is priced between £650 to £1,000, is set to be released in February.
