Gluten free pizza is a saviour for those who are wheat intolerant. Made by Italian pizza maestro Matteo, there are eight flavours, including classic margarita, smokin’ vegan (with vegan cheese) and the meat-free edgy veggie with courgettes, aubergines and peppers. They’re thin, crisp and stone-baked and won’t leave you bloated and full of regret.

Lizi’s granola for kids, Lizis.co.uk, £3.69

Breakfasts and children often do not go hand in hand, but the queen of granola brands is making it easier. Lizi’s adventurer brand is aimed at children. It is low in sugar and high in fibre and comes in the classic flavours of banana or strawberry.

From the tea masters at F&M, pay attention to the play on words. These playfully named teas include flavours such as gin and tonic, bloody Mary, and pistachio and clotted cream which are part of a new set of nine. Each comes in a brightly designed box to match the bold flavours. All the teas are blended in the UK and made from natural ingredients.

From the organic chickpea puff company, comes its latest flavour, classic salt and vinegar. They’re baked and not fried, so make for a healthier snack and are MSG free. They’re also delicious.

Nairn’s gluten free flatbread, Sainsburys.co.uk, 150g, £1.75

Coming in two flavours – original and rosemary and sea salt – Nairn's has created gluten-free versions of its wholegrain oat flatbreads.Top them with cream cheese and salmon or brie and apple for a light lunch or afternoon snacks.

Aldi Thai green and red curry kits, Aldi.co.uk, £1.39

When you can’t be bothered to make a Thai curry from scratch, but a takeaway is out of the question, DIY kits are the answer, especially during the week when time is short. Each bag comes with a fresh paste and serves between two and three people.
