Chrissy Teigen has said she will “never” be pregnant again following her baby loss in September.

The model and cookbook author posted a picture of herself on Instagram in which her pregnancy bump is still visible.

“This is me and my body, just yesterday,” she captioned the photo. “Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been.

“And I have no idea why I still have this bump, honestly. It’s frustrating.”

Teigen said she was “proud” of where her pregnancy loss journey had taken her mind and body, but added that she wouldn’t be trying for another baby.

“I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again,” she wrote. “But I am lucky to have two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people more and more every single day.”

Teigen and her husband, musician John Legend, have two children, four-year-old Luna and two-year-old Miles.

Earlier this year, they were pregnant with their third child, Jack, but the couple lost the baby after Teigen experienced excessive bleeding.

She was praised for her honesty after sharing the couple’s devastating loss in an emotional Instagram post.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before,” she said.

“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough.”

Teigen shared the news alongside a black-and-white picture showing her crying while sitting up in a hospital bed.

In another photo the author was seen cradling her baby in a blanket while Legend leaned in.

“We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we’ve been able to experience,” Teigen finished the post. “But everyday can’t be full of sunshine.

“On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it.”
