Photoshop fail sees family's faces turned into something straight out of a horror movie
The thing of nightmares
Family photographs are a sweet way to memorialise a special time in your life. But for one family, it would be preferable to forget their recent family photographs as soon as possible.
When the Zarings, a blended family from Missouri, decided to hire a professional photographer to capture the happy family, they were excited to see the final product.
But despite the pricey $250 fee the Zarings paid, it appears the photographer wasn’t the professional they claimed to be.
According to mum Pam Zaring, after the shoot, the photographer contacted her about an issue with the lighting, as the “shadows were really bad.” Rather than reshoot the pictures, the photographer promised a little retouching would fix the problem.
Pam posted their retouched family pictures on her Facebook after they didn’t turn out quite the way they expected - and the results have people in hysterics.
The original Facebook post has gone viral after it was shared over 384,000 times - and we can see why.
One person commented: “This is hilarious, treasure them always. You look like graphic novel characters.”
Another wrote: “I’m sorry you didn’t get the pictures you wanted, but this is quite entertaining!”
Someone else wrote: “You all look like a family of serial killers,” which is actually pretty accurate.
Perhaps one of the worst photoshop fails ever, the family members in the pictures are completely unrecognisable - with some commenters even comparing the pictures to dolls or masks.
And, according to Pam, she has not been refunded. When one person commented: “Please tell me you got the $250 back!!” Pam responded “Nope!”
While it is unfortunate the family did not receive a refund, we can’t help but be glad the family decided to share the hysterical results on Facebook.
